Meet Lea - our Founder 

I’m a swimming coach with a passion for helping swimmers of all levels improve their technique, build confidence, and swim smarter.

​

I swam competitively from the age of nine until the end of university. Over the years, I became a county champion in multiple events, held county records, and competed up to a National level. At Loughborough University I pivoted to Lifesaving competitions, where I held a British University Record, was selected for Team UK at international competitions and helped Loughborough University Lifesaving retain their title of British University Champions every year I was there. Since university, I’ve explored open water swimming, including completing a successful English Channel relay crossing in 2024; one of my proudest achievements to date.

Professionally, I hold a range of UK and Australian qualifications, including:

​

  • 1st Class Honours Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University

  • UK Level 1 & 2 Swim Teaching

  • UK Level 1 Swim Coaching

  • Australian Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor certification

  • Level 3 Personal Trainer certification


I’ve worked in various teaching and coaching roles over the years, including as Head of Swimming at a leading UK girls’ school. ​With years of experience in the water as both an athlete and a coach, I understand how it feels to want more from your swimming; whether that’s better form, faster times, or simply to get more enjoyment from your sessions.

 

​I'm originally from the UK but currently based in the Gold Coast, Australia; creating swim guides and training plans designed to support swimmers globally. â€‹Whether you're training for an event, getting back into the water, or simply looking to build confidence and improve your technique, these guides are structured to help you get there.
